        A memorial service for late Connecticut U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman was held Wednesday morning in Washington D.C.
        The Stamford native died due to complications from a fall in March. He was 82 years old.
        He was also the vice presidential nominee during Al Gore's failed 2000 presidential run.
        Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is in town for a joint congressional address, spoke at the service.
        Former Vice President Mike Pence and several U.S. senators including Republican leader Mitch McConnell were at the service.
