Former President Donald Trump paid a visit to Knockout Barber Shop in Castle Hill today.
Trump was inside for a private meet-and-greet. Trump spent about an hour inside the establishment
The business is located at 1189 Castle Hill Ave. The NYPD and U.S. Secret Service personnel were in the area. Streets are now reopening in the area following Trump's departure.
Barbers at the location were wearing shirts that say "Make Barbers Great Again."
Owner Javiel Rodriguez says the event took a few days to coordinate. A regular customer told News 12 that Trump was kind and treated everyone with respect.
Trump did not address the crowds surrounding the establishment on Thursday. The crowd chanted "Trump" as the former president's motorcade left the location.
