Hundreds of Knicks fans packed a Yonkers store
on Wednesday for a chance to meet one of the team’s biggest stars.
OG Anunoby made a special appearance at Dick’s Sporting Goods at Ridge Hill, where the ticketed meet-and-greet guaranteed photos for about 200 fans.
"I got here at 5:30 this morning, 5:30. I started at number 50, but when I got inside, I was 199. I was the 199th person in line," said one Knicks fan.
For many, the excitement was fueled by Anunoby’s recent playoff performance, including a memorable tip-in during Game 4 at Madison Square Garden.
"It's pretty cool. It's an honor to be with the greats, and I'm just happy I was able to do it," said OG Anunoby.
The event came just ahead of New York City’s ticker tape parade, adding to the excitement surrounding the team’s success.
"It'll be a special moment for the whole city. We're all going to enjoy it together, so it'll be really fun," said Anunoby.
