Jury selection begins today for the man accused of murdering NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller.

Guy Rivera is accused of killing the Massapequa Park detective and attempting to shoot a sergeant nearly two years ago in Queens.

Rivera faces life in prison if convicted on the top charge.

The trial is expected to last about a month.
