There is a Jersey Proud effort going on in Ocean County.
Crews have been building a home in Little Egg Harbor called “Larry’s House.” Volunteers are donating their time and materials to build a home for veterans in transition.
It is named for Larry Robertiello, who sadly died of addiction.
The organization called Just Believe spearheaded the effort to help veterans escape homelessness and substance abuse. Just Believe raised $100,000 to get this built. Volunteers did the rest.
The home is just about ready. Landscapers put in the backyard this week. Up to six veterans will live at Larry’s House.
