Glen Ridge High School senior Esmae Keswin is making a difference through kindness and community service.
The 17-year-old wrote the children’s book "Mossy the Bear," which teaches kindness lessons to elementary students.
She also founded the teen volunteer group Hands4Hope, and through her organization, she has raised more than $2,700 for children in foster care.
She’s also building a Reading Garden at the nonprofit Cooper School in Montclair, all while maintaining a 4.13 GPA, earning AP Scholar honors, and playing varsity soccer.
Her impact is both helping communities and making New Jersey Proud.
