For a group of students from the Peddie School in Hightstown, their spring break is taking them to Bermuda.

The students traveled to the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, where their break became an immersive learning experience. Days were spent studying marine ecosystems up close and diving into a hands-on education.

They explored coral reefs, navigated hidden caves and trekked through habitats.

For these aspiring marine biologists, the trip was more than educational.

This spring break, instead of souvenirs, they brought back something far more lasting memories.
