Police departments do community outreach all over the state – and one effort this week involved state police and a game of volleyball.

It is called The Building Bridges Volleyball Game. A team of female state troopers went to St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark to take on the girls' high school teams.

It was a friendly game to build a community and to foster a sense that everybody is on the same team.

This is the fourth year they have held this game.
