The Red Cross installed 78 smoke alarms and 25 carbon monoxide detectors this week.

Volunteers with the American Red Cross went door to door in Bayonne to ask residents if there were smoke detectors in their homes.
If the homeowner did not have a smoke detector, one was installed free of charge.
The Red Cross installed 78 smoke alarms and 25 carbon monoxide detectors this week.
