A young woman in North Jersey is making New Jersey proud with an effort she started while still in high school.
Kaitlyn Klaus has been collecting diapers for young parents in need for the last four years. It began when she was a freshman at Immaculate Heart Academy. Now at the University of Mississippi, Klaus has continued the effort.
Klaus has collected 12,000 diapers this past year- more than 43,000 overall. She made a large delivery to the Center for Food Action in Mahwah during her winter break.
