The New Jersey Sharing Network is working to raise awareness about organ donation and honor those who give the gift of life. Volunteers with the Clyde Paul Insurance Agency in Summit are helping recognize the families of organ donors through a heartfelt gesture. The volunteers knitted shawls, blankets and other clothing items to be given to donor families as a way to show their loved ones are remembered and their gifts are not forgotten. The effort is part of the New Jersey Sharing Network’s Wrapped in Love program, which provides comfort to families who have lost loved ones and honors the lasting impact of organ donation. Those interested in getting involved can donate knitted items throughout the year.
