There are a lot of cute dogs out there – and a Delbarton High School student came up with an idea to use them to help raise money.

Sophomore Dylan Kloster created the Dogs of Delbarton competition.

People voted with their wallets for the cutest dog in the community. The money all went to charity.

Frances was the winning dog, raising over $8,000.

There were dozens of dogs in the contest. The biggest winner was the Valerie Fund. The nonprofit helps kids with cancer and blood disorders.

In all, Dogs of Delbarton raised over $41,000.
