Fair Lawn is announcing the winners of its fire hydrant shoveling contest.

Madison, who shoveled nine fire hydrants, took first place. Dillon, who shoveled seven hydrants took second place.

In total, 37 students from around town participated in the contest, collectively clearing 62 fire hydrants. As a token of appreciation for their efforts, all 37 participants will be receiving gift cards.
