A jazz concert this weekend is full of some “Jersey Proud” musicians.
Four musicians playing in Sunday’s concert in Madison are this year’s New Jersey Jazz Society Scholarship winners.
They are pianist Lasse Corson and saxophonist Joseph Foglia, who both attend William Paterson University, Leonia’s Isaac Yi, who also plays the saxophone and trumpeter Gabe Chalick, who just graduated from Princeton University.
Each received between $500 and $1,000 in scholarships to continue their music education.
They will perform this Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Madison Community Arts Center.
