7h agoAn Islip Terrace man was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in prison for killing his son-in-law.
Eduardo Vega pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing Roshane McLaren.
Vega's wife was also charged in the case. Prosecutors say she drove her husband to the train station after the murder.
She pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution in September and was given a conditional discharge.
