An ambulance in Cortlandt Manor is believed to have hit an icy patch, causing it to overturn on Furnace Woods Road
Two EMTs were able to escape through the back door. Officials say they do not have life-threatening injuries.
It was not immediately known if the ambulance was headed to an emergency.
"Everything is fine," said Lieutenant Guida with the Lake Mohegan Fire Department. "There were only two EMTs inside and they were transported just to check, make sure everything is OK."
The intersection of Furnace Woods Road and Veronica Court was closed following the crash but has since reopened.
