Mayor Rika Levin confirmed the presence of ICE agents on Route 9 and Spring Street in the Village of Ossining on Thursday.

He also said ICE detained two individuals from a vehicle on Route 9.

Levin also confirmed ICE presence on Spring Street.

News 12 was sent photos of the agents on Spring Street by social media group Ve Algo, Di Algo, which translates to "see something, say something."

The group allows for people in the tri-state area to submit ICE sightings and photos in their local communities.

Members of the community, who also asked to remain anonymous, shared their photos as well.

Many in the community also shared their mixed opinions on ICE presence in the community.

"We believe that the people who live here have a right to be here and we do not believe that the federal government has a right to grab people without cause off the streets," said Amy Hall, with Hudson Valley Books for Humanity.

"Our families are scared, and yeah, we are concerned too...but they don't have to be panicked," said Ana Guzman, with Ossining Padres Hispanos.

At this time, Mayor Levin says there is not information on who or what the agents were investigating.

News 12 contacted Ossining Police and ICE but has not heard back.
