Drivers on I-80 in Morris County are facing more challenges as roadwork disrupts both directions of the highway.
On I-80 westbound, pothole repairs and other maintenance will close two lanes for much of the day, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., covering over a mile just before Exit 30.
If the work isn't finished today, crews will continue tomorrow.
Meanwhile, emergency sinkhole repairs are ongoing on I-80 eastbound in Wharton, where the highway remains closed and detoured at Exit 34.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is urging motorists to avoid the area and exercise patience during the repairs.
