How are young Hudson Valley voters feeling about the possibility of Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for president?

If Democrats choose her as the candidate, she will be the first Black woman and the first person of south Asian descent to head a major party's presidential ticket.

Young voters could play an essential role in the 2024 presidential race, so News 12 surveyed some young people to see how they are feeling about the election, now that Kamala Harris is seeking to be the Democratic nominee.
If Democrats choose her as the candidate, she will be the first Black woman and the first person of south Asian descent to head a major party's presidential ticket.
It's something that Harry Bittker, the president of Westchester Young Democrats, said is exciting and refreshing for people wanting a change.
He shared why he thinks the majority of young voters News 12 spoke with said they are with Vice President Harris.
"I think that the generational change is great, I think that the representation is great, and I think that she just does good work and I think that's what we want to see," Bittker said.
However, one young voter News 12 spoke with added that he currently feels indifferent.
