Donations are pouring in for Hope for Paws Humane Society in Plainfield following this week's flash flooding.
Since Tuesday, Amazon trucks have been dropping off donations of food and cleaning supplies nonstop. Volunteers have been unpacking boxes and organizing them before they go to storage units, which have also been donated.
The humane society's main storage is in the basement of its building, which flooded and still needs to be cleaned out. The building took on 3 feet of water.
A crew will come to clean out the flooded storage area Saturday.
The dogs and cats that live at the building are slowly being sent to fosters or other rescues until renovations are finished.
