        Home stretch – Long lines on Long Island during last weekend of early voting

        The last day for early voting is Sunday. The general election is on Tuesday.

        This is the last weekend for early voting – and lines were long at many polling sites across Long Island.
        According to the Boards of Elections in Suffolk and Nassau Counties 451,051 people have participated in early voting so far.
        Caroline Wilson, of St. James, arrived at Nesconset Elementary School to cast her vote.
        "I just wanted to make sure I got here early enough to make my vote count," she said.
        The last day for early voting is Sunday. The general election is on Tuesday.
