A 73-year-old woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run in Bellmawr Thursday night, and police tracked down the accused driver with the help of a K-9.

Prosecutors say Shaun Fennimore struck Margaret Flail just before 6 p.m. on Blue Bell Road and fled the scene.

Police later found his car abandoned at a nearby store.

Officers tracked Fennimore to a nearby wooded area with the help of a K-9.

Flail was taken to the hospital, where she died.

Fennimore is now facing charges.
