Brian Gerber, Rockland County resident and American Red Cross Mass care chief, is aiding Florida's Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
Gerber arrived in Tallahassee to assist with pre-storm planning and ensuring evacuation shelters run efficiently. The shelters provide mental health services and hot meals.
"This community has been affected multiple times over the last 13 months with multiple storms, including Debbie," Gerber said.
Gerber urges Hudson Valley residents to support relief efforts by donating to the American Red Cross.
