Families looking for a less frightful yet fulfilling experience this month can find one at the Halloween House at the Freehold Raceway Mall.

Each room of the attraction has activities and tasks for guests to interact with.

The idea is to have fun without the fear and fright the holiday can bring. It includes “Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Beetlejuice” themed rooms.

"We hope that families make this a family tradition,” said Janeth Flores, an employee at the Halloween House.

The attraction runs through October. Then in November it transforms into a Christmas attraction.
