A Greenwich native has landed an investment from one of the country's most well known entrepreneurs after appearing on ABC's "Shark Tank."
Charlie Greene, the co-founder of Remento, was featured on the March 7 episode.
Remento is a family story preservation platform where people transform their spoken memories into personalized keepsake books. The stories are printed into a hardcover book that has QR codes. When the code is scanned, the recording is played. The $99 service includes a year of prompts, one hardcover color-printed book, along with access to a digital archive of recoded stories.
Greene landed a $300,000 investment from Mark Cuban.
"Walking into the tank, there was no entrepreneur that I would be more excited to work with than Mark Cuban. He is an entrepreneur that I have idolized for many years and his involvement with this business going forward, I think it has the opportunity to unlock tremendous potential for Remento," he says.
