A grand jury has indicted an 18-year-old Garwood man for allegedly running over two teenage girls in Cranford last year.
Vincent Battiloro was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas.
Both girls were 17 years old and seniors at Cranford High School when they died. They were riding an e-bike on Burnside Avenue in 2025 when they were hit.
Prosecutors say that Battiloro intentionally ran down the girls and then drove away from the scene.
