Local grocery stores are seeing a surge in customers ahead of a big weekend.
While people stock up on gameday eats, they're also grabbing plenty of essentials like milk, bread and eggs with nasty weather in the forecast.
“You have to be prepared," Venus Rogers says. "We're getting ready for it all."
Stew Leonard's in Norwalk is also selling plenty of snow shovels and rock salt.
"We just got some snow," Rachel Rosado says. "People were worried."
If you do go out, customers are urging the public to drive safe and have a designated driver.
