A Gardiner man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and leaving the scene of an incident in a January hit-and-run that killed SUNY New Paltz student Raymond Rattray.
Rattray, 22, was struck on Route 208 in New Paltz. His body was found hours after his mother reported him missing.
Prosecutors say Ty Kobelt, 33, concealed vehicle damage, was under the influence of cannabis and was using his cellphone at the time of the incident.
Kobelt's sentencing is scheduled for December.
