High pressure takes hold of the region keeping us dry, but due to a system off to the far northeast, we are still receiving windy conditions the next few days as the system stalls in the Northeast. The coldest day of the week is expected for Wednesday where temperatures barely get past the mid-20s and feel-like temperatures stay in the teens throughout the afternoon.
OVERNIGHT: Bitter cold, mostly clear and windy. Lows near 20 degrees. Wind chill values 0-15 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, windy and still bitterly cold. Highs in the mid-20s. Lows in the upper teens. Wind chill values 0-10 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mainly sunny, still bitterly cold and windy. Highs near 30 degrees. Lows in the low 20s.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, seasonable and less windy. Highs in the 30s. Lows in the upper 20s.
THE WEEKEND: Saturday will be in the 30s, there is a chance for snow showers in the morning and afternoon before ending at night. Sunday temperatures will be in the upper 30s. Sun and clouds and fair.
