1h agoFour people are safe after their fishing boat capsized in Lido Beach near the Jones Inlet on Sunday morning.
Police say all four passengers made it to a nearby sandbar before rescuers arrived.
The Nassau Police Marine Bureau and Town of Hempstead Bay Constables brought them to Point Lookout.
No one was hurt, and the 16-foot boat was recovered.
