        A former Tenafly police officer, 44-year-old Joseph Grieco, has been found guilty of manslaughter in the shooting death of his husband, John Kelly.
        The incident took place in July 2023.
        Prosecutors say Grieco had been drinking, returned home, and continued drinking when he allegedly played with his gun, leading to the accidental shooting of Kelly.
        A jury convicted Grieco of manslaughter, and he now faces up to 30 years in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
