A former NYCHA superintendent from The Bronx has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for bribery.
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York says Hector Colon asked for and took around $30,000 in bribes from NYCHA contractors.
He was accused of taking those bribes from relatively small contracts so he could hire his own contractors.
He is sentenced to 18 months in prison, according to authorities.
