ALERTS:
There is a FROST ADVISORY for Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean counties (along with the rest of South Jersey) for tomorrow morning as temperatures approach the freezing mark away from the coast.
FORECAST:
Colder air settles in today with gusty conditions again. Winds will be westerly at 10-20 mph with gusts near 25-30 mph at times this afternoon. Wind swept clouds blow across New Jersey into the afternoon and evening.
The sky clears tonight and cold settles in.
A Frost advisory is in effect for interior portions of Monmouth and Ocean counties, all of Mercer county, and the rest of South Jersey as temperatures approach the freezing mark, allowing dew to form into frost on colder, vegetated surfaces. The Frost advisory is issued for the first frost of the season that could damage sensitive vegetation.
It remains breezy tomorrow again with a windswept sprinkle or shower for Warren & Sussex counties. Temperatures will be cooler - in the upper 50s. It holds this way through the weekend where the weather remains mostly sunny with passing clouds and pleasant conditions.
A brief look ahead toward next week showcases a possible nor'easter or coastal storm that could bring another great impact to the coastline of New Jersey anytime from Wed - early Fri. This is a detail that is NOT guaranteed, but worth watching as it will change and evolve over the next several days.
