Firefighters were on scene battling a dumpster fire in Allerton Thursday.

The FDNY says it responded to 1219 Adee Ave. just after 5:30 p.m. Citizen app footage shows children watching the blaze from a nearby playground.

The video captures a large cloud of smoke billowing into the air as crews battle the fire.

Fire officials say crews contained the blaze in approximately 20 minutes, and no one was injured.
