A fire ripped through a building in East New York overnight leaving visible damage on the sidewalk and broken windows.
It happened on New Jersey and New Lots avenues.
Fire officials say the call for the fire came in before midnight. The fire started on the first floor and was under control by 1:47 a.m.
Sixty firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the fire.
The American Red Cross tells News 12 three households with eight adults and four children were impacted by this fire.
Fire officials say no one was injured and they are investigating the cause of the fire.
