2h agoThe Fire Island Inlet Bridge has reopened following an inspection this morning and afternoon due to a report of falling concrete.
New York State Park police say a charter boat captain reported Sunday night that a chunk of concrete passively fell from the bridge.
Officials say it was closed out of an abundance of caution.
