3h agoA fire broke out early this morning at an auto body shop in Kensington, sending 60 firefighters and EMTs to the scene.
The FDNY said it received a call at 12:35 a.m. Thursday for a blaze inside a one-story commercial garage at 740 Coney Island Ave., between Avenue C and Cortelyou Road.
Video from the scene shows firefighters cutting through a metal gate to get inside. It took crews one hour to get the flames under control.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause.
