FDNY: 4 injured in Gravesend crash involving police vehicle

Police say one of the officers involved was in critical but stable condition.

A police-involved crash early Sunday morning left four people, including two officers, injured in Gravesend.
The FDNY says it happened around 2 a.m. on Coney Island Avenue. A 24-year-old man driving a Chevy ran into a Volvo, causing the two vehicles to crash into a police car.
Authorities say charges are pending for the driver of the Chevy.
Police say one of the officers involved was in critical but stable condition. The other is stable. The driver involved in the crash was also in critical but stable condition. A passenger was stable.
Two others refused medical attention at the scene.
