Fall-like conditions arrive in New Jersey to open October

These cooler temperatures are brief. Summer temperatures are expected to make a return.

Sweater weather has returned, but it's brief!
Today brought highs in the 60s under plenty of sunshine, accompanied by a light breeze.
Tomorrow continues the autumn feel, with highs again in the mid-60s and more sunshine. But the breeze will be noticeably calmer. Temperatures begin to climb again on Thursday, reaching the low 70s.
Friday looks fantastic as well, with slightly warmer conditions and continued sunshine.
Temperatures from Saturday through Tuesday will range from the mid- to upper 70s to low 80s. By Wednesday, highs will trend slightly cooler, topping out in the 70s.
Overall, this stretch will run about 5 to 10 degrees above seasonal averages. We continue to stay dry through early next week.
OVERNIGHT: Lows in the 50s. Mostly clear.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid-60s. Lows in the low 50s.
FRIDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs in the low 70s, lows in the low 50s.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs in the higher 70s. Lows in the higher 50s.
SUNDAY: Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. Lows in the lower 60s.
