Hope River Farm has been in the business of scaring people for the past 10 years.
Every year, the employees at the farm host what's called the "After Dark Halloween Haunt."
The haunt is usually held on the weekends of October, and this is the first time in 10 years that one of the haunts will happen on Halloween night.
"You know, we're very big Halloween fans here, and that's what we do it for, is the entertainment factor, so I think it'll be a very good turnout on Halloween. We're very excited for that," said Michael McPadden, creator and director of the After Dark Halloween Haunt.
McPadden said he's hoping for a good turnout on Halloween night, since it isn't your ordinary scare.
"All proceeds benefit Hope River Farm, where we do therapeutic riding programs and after-school programs for typical children and special needs as well," McPadden said.
Hope River Farm also employs people with special needs, and all of their animals are rescues.
"It's like we're helping fundraise to help give back in a sense, instead of just for-profit," said Matthew Corbin, an actor in the After Dark Halloween Haunt.
The last chance to ride the haunted hayride, walk through the haunted motel and the funhouse is Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Tickets are $20. There is also an inflatable movie screen and concessions.
As soon as the spooky season is over, Hope River Farm will prepare for the holiday season and set up the attractions for their Christmas shows.
