Equipment problems are causing some issues at airports around the tri-state area.
Newark Liberty International Airport was reporting a ground delay due to an “equipment outage.”
“We are working to fix the issue but have no timeframe when it will be completed,” a spokesperson for Newark Airport said.
The issues also seemed to be impacting Teterboro Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport.
As of 9:45 p.m. Teterboro was reporting delays of 75 minutes and JFK Airport has 15-minute departure delays. LaGuardia Airport was reporting it was closed.
Further details about the outage were not provided.
