yesterdayAfter a week of 311 tickets and complaints to city agencies, the sinkhole on Heath Avenue in Kingsbridge finally got fixed.
Bronx residents in and drivers in the area dealt with headaches as they navigated around the major sinkhole.
Residents told News 12 that a smaller hole in the ground appeared in the same spot last year due to an underground leak, but last week, that small hole collapsed.
Residents, who didn't want to speak on camera, say they have been filing 311 complaints and complaining to city agencies since the collapse last week.

"At least it's getting done! Thanks to News 12 for reporting this" said one resident. Locals say these repairs have been a long time coming.
The DOT sent News 12 a statement stating, "NYC DOT responded quickly to help secure the area and keep New Yorkers safe. We continue to oversee repairs until the roadway is restored.”
