An early-morning shooting in Paterson left a 34-year-old man at the hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday night.
Members of the Paterson Police Department responded to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center around 2:07 a.m. on Aug. 8, after receiving reports of a gunshot victim entering the facility.
Investigators said the 34-year-old victim, a resident of East Orange, arrived at the hospital via a private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Following a preliminary investigation, officers located a potential crime scene in the area of McBride Avenue and Mill Street.
