The daily low/high for today was spot on - for Sept. 14. Breezy and cool west/ northwest winds brought a touch of early autumn to us.
Technically, the official start to fall is in 26 days, but the forecast apparently is rushing us into the season like it was Starbuck's pushing its Pumpkin Spice Latte everything on us before we even get out of summer. Sacrilege I say, but I digress.
The next few days will feature fluctuating temperatures with plenty of sunshine.
The weekend couldn't look any nicer, although for the last "unofficial" weekend of summer, I would've hoped for the weather to be a little warmer.
Don't get me wrong: the 70s are wonderful, but I would have liked to see summer go out the way it came in in June and July - on the hotter side.
