        A devastating house fire in Dutchess County has claimed the lives of a mother and her 1-year-old daughter, authorities said.
        The blaze broke out Sunday night at a home in Clinton, where police found 35-year-old Shannon Hubbard and her two young children on the second floor.
        Hubbard and her daughter died from their injuries at a hospital, while her husband and 3-year-old son are hospitalized with injuries and are expected to survive.
        The family, originally from Massachusetts, was staying in the area for unknown reasons, officials said.
        The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
