Heavy rain rolls across New Jersey with areas of flooding likely with downpours. 1-2 inches of rain is expected. The rain tapers to showers this afternoon and tonight, which ends in the morning.
The weekend is spectacular with warm highs in the mid-to-upper 70s for both Saturday and Sunday. The sun will shine spectacularly, and it will be beautiful. There may be a few fleeting showers on Saturday morning, but it will be over by 8 a.m.
Temperatures remain warm into early next week coupled with sunshine. The next chance for rain will be Wednesday.
Pollen levels are elevated this weekend, including with the introduction of grass pollen, which is running a week earlier than usual according to allergist Dr. Bielory of Kean University's Center for Areological Research.
