The eighth annual Howl-O-Weiner Walk kicked off this past weekend on the Asbury Park boardwalk.
More than 500 dachshunds and their friends showed off Halloween costumes during the event. Some owners also dressed up to join the fun.
The walk was started by Dr. Adam Christman, a veterinarian and social media influencer.
He began the tradition with just 30 dogs to celebrate the love of dachshunds. Christman owns four himself.
