Two French bulldogs who were stolen from the front yard of Longwood home have been reunited with their rightful owners.
Frank Vega and his family began a desperate search after discovering a masked individual climbed their fence on Dawson Street, opened the gate then walked off with their beloved pets on Monday.
The family was devastated by the loss of 2-year-old Marley and Beyonce. "It was unbelievable," Vega told News 12. "It was sad and it was disgusting."
Neighbors and friends joined the search effort, posting photos of the dogs across social media in the hopes of receiving tips.
The dogs remained missing until Thursday. The family says investigators told them a woman purchased the dogs for just $20 from a man who said he needed drug money.
In a video from the police station, Marley and Beyonce could be seen excitedly running to a family member.
As of Friday morning, authorities have not revealed if any arrests have been made in connection with the case.
