Police made an unexpected discovery at a Yonkers home during an unrelated arrest earlier this month.

The state DEC says officers found a young crocodile and a dwarf caiman. The man did not have the required licenses or permits.

The reptiles were turned over to a properly licensed facility.

The DEC says the man was issued multiple tickets.
