A Lake Grove man was arrested when officers found weapons inside his vehicle during a traffic stop last week, according to Southold police.
Officers say they initiated the stop after observing 37-year-old Robert C. Spalma driving with a broken brake light.
Brass knuckles and a baton were recovered from his car during the investigation.
Police say Spalma has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
He was processed at Southold Town Police Headquarters and arraigned at Southold Town Justice Court.
